"Are there really people on the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Reservation who support Jack Abramoff and Michael Scanlon? Are there really people out there who think that the Tribe got its money's worth of lobbying and influence in Washington?
There is enough in the public record that there is no need to wait for a guilty verdict to pass judgement - these guys, Abramoff and Scanlon, are pond scum.
No, pond scum has redeeming ecological value. Abramoff and Scanlon are lower than pond scum, parasites with no redeeming qualities. They're vile, and when the deal finally goes down in Washington, they'll probably try to sell out their long-dead ancestors to avoid spending time in prison. There are already rumblings that they're getting read to sell-out anyone. Former friends, allies, and co-workers - word is that Abramoff and Scanlon won't spare any of them if it'll help save their corrupt skins."
