Gangs blamed for shooting death in Minneapolis

Gangs are being blamed for yet another shooting death at an Indian housing complex in Minneapolis.

Wambli S. McArthur, 30, was charged with second-degree murder for the death of Vincent LaRoque, 20. McArthur allegedly shot LaRoque in the head near the Little Earth housing complex shortly after midnight June 23. LaRoque died two days later.

Police said they arrested "documented Native Mob gang members" in connection with the shooting. McArthur is the only one charged so far.

Earlier this year, police shot and killed an Indian man at the housing complex who was said to be linked to Native gangs. The incident was linked to the November 2004 shooting deaths at the same complex.
