The secretary of the Absentee Shawnee Tribe of Oklahoma is due to appear in tribal court to face charges that she has used her position for personal gain.
As part of her re-election campaign, Marian Reeves is accused of attempting to bribe prior candidates and give purchased baseball tickets to voters. One woman claims she was offered use of a tribal vehicle in exchange for her vote.
The election is June 18.
