Clyde Tyndall, a member of the Omaha Tribe of Nebraska, has been named the new director of the Lincoln Indian Center.
Tyndall, 56, hopes to make economic development a priority. "I'd like to help Indian people get into the business sector. There's nobody looking at that here," the former Omaha tribal council member told The Lincoln Journal Star.
A welcoming celebration will be held for Tyndall on May 22 at the center.
