Air Force Base sends homes to Montana reservation

The Malmstrom Air Force Base is sending 20 surplus homes to the Rocky Boy's Reservation in Montana.

The donation will alleviate a housing shortage on the reservation. The number of families on the waiting list has grown to 850, said the tribe's chairman.

Over the years, the base has sent about 185 homes to the reservation. The donations were arranged by the non-profit Operation Walking Shield.
