An 18-year-old man from the Uintah-Ouray Reservation in Utah has been charged with murdering his cousin in an alcohol-related incident.
Toby James Ridley and his cousin, 31-year-old Shawn Ridley, got into an argument while riding around in a car on the reservation. Along with two other women, the group had been drinking.
The argument apparently escalated and Toby allegedly shot Shawn in the head with a hunting rifle. Toby got out of the car and the women drove away with Shawn still inside.
Toby turned himself him and was charged in federal court. He is a member of the Ute Tribe as was his cousin.
