Ute man held in shooting of cousin on reservation

Correction: The first posting incorrectly named FBI spokesman Brent Robbins as the shooter. The name of the shooter was not reported at the time.

The U.S. Attorney in Utah is weighing possible murder charges against a member of the Ute Tribe who is accused of shooting his cousin on the Uintah and Ouray Reservation.

The 18-year-old man allegedly his shot 31-year-old cousin in his car at point blank rage. He is being held in a tribal jail pending federal charges.

The name of the cousin was not reported. Two witnesses allegedly saw the shooting.
