Curly Bear Wagner, a member of the Blackfeet Nation, has co-produced a documentary that tells the Blackfeet version of the Lewis and Clark expedition.
"Two Worlds at Two Medicine" tells how Meriwether Lewis encountered a group of young Blackfeet boys in the summer of 1806. Lewis, accompanied by three other men, had told the boys that the U.S. now owned Blackfeet land, the documentary recalls.
The next day, a small fight broke out, resulting in the deaths of two Blackfeet boys. The remaining boys returned to the tribe to explain what happened.
