Leaders of the Aquinnah Wampanoag Tribe have reached a deal to pay the town of Aquinnah, Massachusetts, for public services provided to the reservation.
The tribe and the town had entered a services agreement in 1995 but no money was paid after several years. The tribe said it never received a bill.
Tribal leaders have since agreed to pay $11,000 for the past fiscal year. The deal still needs final approval by the tribal council.
