Sovereignty Symposium XVII in Oklahoma City
Wednesday, June 1, 2005  

The 17th Sovereignty Symposium is being held today and tomorrow in Oklahoma City.

Topics of the conference include language preservation, transportation, tribal courts, gaming, trust and crime in Indian Country. Phil Hogen, the chairman of the National Indian Gaming Commission, will give the keynote address today.

The symposium is hosted by the state Supreme Court. More information can be found at http://www.oscn.net/static/sovereignty/start.asp.
