The state of Wyoming has launched an investigation into the death of an Eastern Shoshone tribal member who died in a county jail.
Ed Young, 58, had been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol last Friday. A few hours later, he was found hanging in his jail cell, where he had been placed in isolation.
The incident will be investigated by the state Department of Criminal Investigation.
