A man from the Gordon First Nation in Saskatchewan has been charged with the murders of two women and the attempted murders of three girls.
Kevin Cyr, 31, is accused of killing Bonnie Moosemay, 36, and Lauren Moosemay, 17. He injured the three girls by stabbing them, CBC News reports.
The incident is the second multiple homicide on a Saskatchewan reserve in recent weeks. A 17-year-old is in custody for a triple murder on the Montreal Lake Cree Nation.
