Two more First Nations in Saskatchewan have passed their own resolutions to allow smoking in public places now that Canada has recognized their sovereignty.

The White Bear First Nation was the first to have its smoking bylaw approved. Now the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation and the Mosquito First Nation passed smoking laws.

Saskatchewan outlawed smoking in nearly all public places on January 1. Officials wanted to enforce the law on tribal land but the Canadian government wouldn't allow it.
