The Metis Nation of Saskatchewan has voted to take legal action against the province over a report critical of the recent election.
Metis President Dwayne Roth called the report defamatory. He claims to be the legitimate leader but an auditor found irregularities, including ballots cast by dead people, that could have altered the outcome.
The province has suspended all funding due to the election dispute. Roth has said the Metis don't need the assistance and should survive on their own.
