The Metis Nation of Saskatchewan won't recognize the results of the province's investigation into a recent election.
The probe started when it was unclear who won the election. The province subsequently pulled $400,000 in funding for the Metis Nation.
President Dwayne Roth, who says he won the election, said the removal of funding is a blessing. He said the Metis will have to provide for themselves but won't have to listen to what the government says.
