The Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana plans to sue two Washington lobbyists to recover $32 million they received.
Tribal leaders who hired and supported lobbyist Jack Abramoff and public relations consultant Mike Scanlon now say they are "repulsed" by the pair. They cited e-mails in which tribal clients were derided as "monkeys," "stupid" and "idiots."
Coushatta chairman Lovelin Poncho and council members William G. Worfel have been the target of a recall effort due to their support of Abramoff and Scanlon.
