An open meeting was held on the proposed Navajo Nation water settlement.
The deal would provide finality to the tribe's rights on the San Juan River. The tribe would receive $900 million in public works projects, including a pipeline from the Four Corners to Gallup.
The state of New Mexico and the federal government are parties to the settlement, which requires Congressional approval.
