First Nation students falling behind over protest

Teachers at the school on the Piapot First Nation in Saskatchewan say students are falling behind due to a protest that has stopped classes.

Teachers say at least 12 students may not graduate from high school. Classes have been suspended for three weeks since the occupation started.

Parents are upset over a curriculum they say is treating their children unfairly. The Department of Indian and Northern Affairs has obtained a court order to remove protesters from the school.
