A member of the Crow Tribe of Montana who lost a discrimination suit against a bank says he will appeal.
Burton Pretty On Top Sr. sued First Interstate Bank for age and race-related discrimination. He said a bank official made a joke about his age and that workers were biased against Indians.
A federal jury found in favor of the bank on October 21. Pretty on Top says the jury had no minorities even though Native Americans make up 7 percent of the state. He says the judge pressured the jury to return a speedy verdict.
