The Dineh Tah Dancers, a Navajo dance group, is headed to the opening of the new National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C.
The group was founded in 1993 by Shawn Price, a Navajo tribal member. About 21 people, mostly teenagers, take part in preserving their traditions.
For Price, a junior at the University of New Mexico, that also means sharing his Jewish faith. He converted to Judaism in 1998 and says Navajo and Jewish beliefs are similar.
