A member of the Oglala Sioux Tribe of South Dakota says Indian issues were ignored at the Republican National Convention.

Bruce Whalen, an alternate delegate, said he still supports the GOP. But he said he party should do more to reach out to Indian Country.

"I don't recall hearing anything about Native American issues," Bruce Whalen told the Native American Times. � I think they need to address that. They talked a lot about liberty and freedom, but a lot of that isn�t translated over to people living on reservations."
