An 18-year-old was found guilty of two counts of second-degree murder and one count of manslaughter for the beating death of a blind man on the Leech Lake Ojibwe Reservation in Minnesota.
George Allen Raphael Boswell was 16 at the time of the attack on Darrell (Louie) Bisson, 48 in November 2002. The brutal death sent shockwaves through the reservation.
Two others from the reservation will stand trial for Bisson's death. The three teens were allegedly drunk and high when they bludgeoned Bisson with an ax.
