Crow Tribe dedicates park in honor of veterans

The Crow Tribe of Montana dedicated its Veterans Commemorative Park on Friday.

The park will list the names of 3,000 tribal members who fought in wars dating back to the 1800s. Some of them, like World War II veteran Frank Backbone, were on hand at the dedication ceremony.

The park features two large teepees, a staff that symbolizes warriors and a retaining wall that will list the Crow veterans.
