An artifact amnesty program offered by federal prosecutors in four states has seen the return of some Indian remains.

No other items have been returned but the authorities have received inquiring about returning other artifacts not on the amnesty list. A hotline the U.S. Attorney�s Office in Arizona set up gets about 10 calls a day.

The program was announced a month ago for the states of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. More information on the Four Corner Amnesty Initiative can be found at http://www.usdoj.gov/usao/az/fouramn.html.
