The Cayuga Nation of New York filed documents in court on Thursday outlining plans for a gaming facility on reservation land.
The tribe plans to install 100 electronic casino machines at a former auto parts store in the village of Union Springs, The Syracuse Post-Standard reported.
The facility is expected to generate $6 million a month.
A federal judge ruled the land is part of the tribe's former reservation and is therefore Indian Country. The village is appealing to the 2nd Circuit.
