A member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine Tribe of Montana is hoping to become the next tribal member to join the Montana Legislature.
Margarett H. Campbell is the vice president at the Fort Peck Community College. She filed to run for House District 31 as a Democrat. She says the economy, education, agriculture and veterans are her top priorities.
Currently, there are seven tribal members in the Legislature, a record number.
