Pascua Yaqui Tribe debuts 151-room hotel at casino

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe welcomed visitors to a new hotel at one of its gaming facilities in Arizona.

Estrella, located at Casino Del Sol in Tucson, features 151 rooms. At the outdoor pool, guests can enjoy the patio, a bar and a 14-foot slide.

There's also an arcade and fitness center in the hotel, along with meeting rooms. The building is connected to the casino via a covered walkway, KGUN reported.

“Almost exactly eight years ago, we opened the resort, spa and conference center at Casino Del Sol and today we are opening our second hotel, Estrella at Casino Del Sol,” Chairman Robert Valencia said at the grand opening on Wednesday, KGUN reported. “We are grateful for the support of the Southern Arizona community over the years which has allowed us to continue to expand our hospitality offerings with incredible momentum.”

The tribe also operates the Casino of the Sun, located a couple of miles away in Tucson.
