Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation welcomes visitors to water park

The Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation is hosting a grand opening for a new water park next to its casino in North Dakota.

The 4 Bears Water Park features two water slides, a lazy river and a large "splash" feature. It's right across the parking lot from 4 Bears Casino & Lodge, The Minot Daily News reported.

“This a very important project. It is going to greatly improve the recreational efforts our tribal administration and the 4 Bears Casino have been working toward building within our Nation,” Chairman Mark Fox told the paper.

The grand opening takes place this Saturday, August 11.
