Muscogee Nation celebrates grand opening of casino expansion project

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation has completed another casino expansion project.

The Duck Creek Casino in Beggs, Oklahoma, is seeing an additional 8,000 square-feet of space, offering more room for gaming machines. A grand opening takes place on Saturday, Mvskoke Media reported.

“This team, they work together, it’s a family,” general manager Lorinda Driskill, a Creek citizens, told Mvskoke Media, the tribe's news service. “The fact that we’re having to expand is phenomenal because that means we’re doing what we’re supposed to do.”

Duck Creek completed a renovation in 2013. That project, as well as the expansion, were overseen by I-5 Design & Manufacture.
