The
Blue Lake Rancheria debuted a new amenity at its casino in northern California.
The second floor of the
Blue Lake Casino and Hotel features a
beauty salon that offers a wide array of services for women and men. The tribe financed the build-out, The Eureka Times-Standard reported.
“The tribe paid for everything, so I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for the tribe,” Aggie Ramos, a longtime employee of the casino who now works at
The Salon, told the paper. Her husband,
Jason Ramos, who serves on the tribal council and on the tribe's gaming commission, helps make products for the business, the paper reported.
