Warm Springs Tribes battle large wildfire that broke out behind casino

The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs are battling a large wildfire that broke out behind a casino on the reservation in Oregon.

According to news reports, the fire grew to 2,000 acres on Sunday night. It was sparked by a blown electrical transformer in the hills above the Indian Head Casino, the tribe's assistant fire manager wrote on Facebook.

"Additional crews, engines and support personnel are ordered.... its going to be a busy next few days so stay careful firefighters and people," William Wilson wrote on Sunday.

The fire occurred after a particularly busy weekend on the reservation. The tribe commemorated the 162nd anniversary of the Treaty of 1855
