Seminole Tribe announces new Hard Rock hotel but without casino

The Seminole Tribe continues to expand its hospitality empire.

Hard Rock International, which is owned by the tribe, plans to open a new hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida. The 200-room facility will feature entertainment, food and other amenities, but not a casino.

"From the gorgeous beaches to the NASCAR races that draw in hundreds of thousands of people each year, we're thrilled to bring our product to visitors and locals alike in Daytona Beach," Marco Roca, the executive vice president of global hotel development at Hard Rock, said in a press release.

The Daytona Beach property is set to open later this year. It will be the fourth Hard Rock facility in Florida -- two offer gaming and are located on tribal lands.
