The
Spirit Lake Nation has called off a vote on selling liquor at its casino in North Dakota, The Devils Lake Journal reports.
The referendum was to take place on Tuesday, the paper reported. But it has been postponed pending "further review," the tribal council told the paper. A new date for the vote hasn't been announced.
Revenues from liquor sales at the
Spirit Lake Casino and Resort are supposed to fund an alcohol and drug rehabilitation center on the reservation, the paper said.
