The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has charged a police officer with assaulting one of its casino employees.

Michael Tousignant, 36, is accused of punching a 73-year-old bathroom attendant at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, The Providence Journal reports. He was apparently upset about the water being too cold.

"He said the water was too cold, and then he turned around and smacked the guy," William Dittman, the tribe's police chief, told the paper.

Tousignant was off duty at the time of the April 10 incident. He works on the police force in Pawtucket, about 53 miles from Foxwoods.
