The Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation is breaking ground on a $226 million casino expansion project in southern California. The Sycuan Casino will be seeing a 12-story hotel with 300 rooms, a 12,000-square-foot ballroom, new restaurants and a spa and fitness center. There will also be more space on the gaming floor. "This is truly our day and we are here to celebrate," Chairman Cody Martinez said at the ceremony, which is being broadcast on Facebook Live. Work is expected to be complete sometime in 2019, according to news reports. Read More on the Story:
