The Yakama Nation is welcoming guests to its new casino hotel in Washington. The six-story, 200-room hotel at the Yakama Nation Legends Casino opens to the public on Saturday. The facility, which includes a conference center, is part of a $90 million expansion project on the reservation. “Opening is just the first step,” general manager Letisha Peterson said on Thursday. “We have much more in store for our current and future guests, and we’ll continue to share information through our website and social media outlets in the coming months.” Elsewhere at the casino, a portion of the new 50,000 square-foot expansion on the gaming floor opened in late January. The area offers nearly 1,500 slot machines, table games and a Keno and poker room. The entire Legends Casino Hotel team is excited to welcome guests to the new facility,” Peterson said. “Renovation of the existing casino is underway, and we anticipate unveiling these updates for guests later this year.”
