The Blackfeet Nation owns and operates the Glacier Peaks Casino in Browning, Montana. Photo from Facebook The Blackfeet Nation of Montana has merged operations of its hotel and casino.

The adjoining properties are now known as the Glacier Peaks Hotel and Casino, The Glacier Reporter said. The new brand opens up more opportunities for Siyeh Development Corporation, the tribe's economic arm, a spokesperson told the paper.

"It gives us more opportunities for promotions, catering and events," Jostin Lawrence told The Reporter.

The casino opened in 2006. The adjacent hotel followed in 2013 -- it was originally known as the Holiday Inn Express & Suites.
