The Chickasaw Nation debuted a huge convention center at its mega-casino in Oklahoma. The 65,000 square-foot space makes the WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville even bigger. It features a grand ballroom, a junior ballroom and executive boardrooms for meetings of all sizes, plus a 12,500 square-foot kitchen with capabilities for large crowds. “Visitors to the WinStar Convention Center can expect our experienced professionals to take care of all of their meeting and planning needs in a one-stop shop,” Morgan Ambrose, a sales manager at the facility, said in a blog post. The tribe broke ground on the project in April 2015. The cost was not reported. WinStar is considered the largest casino in the U.S. It's located near the Oklahoma-Texas border.
