A second employee of the casino owned by the Mohegan Tribe of Connecticut pleaded not guilty for his role in a roulette scam.

Joseph Marotta is a floor supervisor at Mohegan Sun. Authorities say he and another casino employee covered up losses sustained by a patron and shared the proceeds.

The other employee, Christian Elwood, is a dealer at the casino. He pleaded not guilty last month.

The patron allegedly involved in the scam has been identified as Jeremy Paul Howard. All three are charged with first-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny.

The casino lost nearly $30,000, The Norwich Bulletin reported last month.
