The Navajo Nation Council kicks off its summer session and a gaming development bill is on the agenda. Legislation No. 0214-16 authorizes a travel center at the Twin Arrows Navajo Casino Resort in Flagstaff, Arizona. The money for the project would be drawn as a $10 million loan from the Síhasin Fund, a fund that was created by a $554 million trust settlement The Twin Arrows Travel Center would consist of a gas station and convenience store. It would be located along Interstate 40, a busy highway. The summer session begins on Monday with an annual horse and bike ride to Window Rock, Arizona, the capital of the Navajo Nation.
