A former employee of a casino owned by the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma was sentenced to two months for stealing from the tribe's establishment. Allen Michael Scott, 22, admitted he stole more than $1,000 from the Choctaw Casino and Resort in Durant. But neither his guilty plea nor the indictment against him offer much information about the crime. There's similarly little information about a co-defendant who was charged at the same time. Dung Thi Ngoc Nguyen, 33, also admitted to stealing more than $1,000 from the casino and awaits sentencing. Scott and Nguyen are among five former employees to be charged with theft from the casino in recent months.
