The Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi broke ground on new addition to its casino property in Michigan. The FireKeepers Pit Stop at the FireKeepers Casino Hotel will feature a gas station, convenience store and car wash. It will bring another 12 to 14 jobs to the facility. “We carefully master plan the land for this great resort and seek to be proactive leaders in design and development,” Vice Chairman Jamie Stuck said in a press release. “Design work is complete and construction equipment will be onsite and active later this month.” Additionally the tribe completed renovations on the Cafe 24/7 at the casino. Future plans call for the removal of the Dacey's Sports Bar to make way for a new bar. Get the Story:
