The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of Idaho are looking for a new architect for a $35.2 million casino expansion project. The tribe had been working with Thalden-Boyd-Emery Architects but the firm abruptly quit in early November, The Sho-Ban News reported. The move was a complete surprise, Chairman Blaine J. Edmo said in a press release. The tribe hopes to hire a new firm by January to complete the design work. Plans call for a 73,500 square-foot facility that would connect the Fort Hall Casino to the adjacent Shoshone-Bannock Hotel and Event Center. Thalden-Boyd-Emery has worked with more than 50 tribes on casino projects, according to its website. Get the Story:
