The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians is looking to build a parking garage on land adjacent to its casino in downtown Palm Springs, California. The four-story structure would be located on the north side of the Spa Resort Casino, according to news reports. It would have enough space for 850 cars. "A parking structure would proactively address parking needs within the gaming district," Chairman Jeff L. Grubbe said in a statement quoted by the local media. "We are considering building this parking structure to enhance our guest experience and contribute to the local economy." The tribe is taking public comments on the project until December 30.
