Chefs from tribal casinos in the Pacific Northwest are meeting for the seventh annual Rez Kitchen Tour on Saturday. The Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians are hosting the event at the Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City, Oregon. Attendees will sample and judge Native dishes prepared by the chefs and their teams. The chefs also will compete for a judge's award. The Rez Kitchen Tour started in 2009 as a way to showcase Northwest tribal cuisine. The first event took place at Chinook Winds and has rotated among other tribal facilities in the state.
