The Poarch Band of Creek Indians in Alabama is on track to complete a $65 million expansion project in the next few months.

The 123-room hotel at the Creek Casino Montgomery is due to open in January. It includes an events center and a full-service salon.

Two new eateries -- the B.B. King Blues Club and Restaurant and Itta Bena -- will debut in December. They will join Lucille's Eatery that already opened earlier this year.

The project created about 200 construction jobs, The Montgomery Advertiser reported. Another 232 people are being hired to work at the casino.
