A Nebraska woman was sentenced for convictions in two separate cases, including one in which she stole money from the casino owned by the Omaha Tribe.

Susan Marr, 39, was the manager of the Lucky 77 Casino. She was fired after being indicted for Social Security fraud.

But Marr gained access to the casino's payroll system and issued herself three checks totaling more than $4,600. The tribe discovered the theft and Marr pleaded guilty to theft from an Indian tribal organization.

In the Social Security fraud case, Marr admitted that she obtained more than $38,000 on behalf of a disabled child in her care. She was sentenced to five years' probation and ordered to pay all of the money back in restitution.
