Wyandotte Nation holds grand opening for expansion at casino

The Wyandotte Nation of Oklahoma held a grand opening last week for casino expansion project.

The tribe spent $7 million to add Club 60 West to the Wyandotte Casino. The 25,000 square-foot addition features a club, VIP lounge, bowling alley, billiards and shuffleboard room and an entertainment venue that seats 500, The Grove Sun reported.

“After about seven years it was time to do some face-lifting to our property,” Kelly Carpino, the CEO of the tribe's corporation, told the Sun.

Phase two will include a13,000 square-foot addition to the gaming floor. Overall, the tribe is spending $30 million on the expansion.
