The Otoe-Missouria Tribe of Oklahoma is expanding its gaming enterprise. The tribe announced plans for a new casino in the town of Perry. It appears to be a small endeavor -- the parcel of trust land is just one lot -- but Chairman John Shotton was excited nonetheless. “I see it as a win-win for the city as well as the tribe,” Shotton told KFOR. “It is unique because it’s one lot in the city, which is trust land, which is eligible for gaming,” he added. The tribe has acquired two more lots that will be used for parking. Those parcels aren't currently in trust. The tribe operates four other gaming facilities. Get the Story:
