The Coeur d'Alene Tribe of Idaho can't offer poker games while it pursues an appeal of a federal judge's decision. The tribe started offering Texas hold 'em games at the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort in May. In a ruling earlier this month, Judge B. Lynn Winmill determined that the games violate state law and aren't allowed under the Class III gaming compact. The tribe asked Winmill to stay his decision in order to take the case to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. He denied the request on Thursday, The Coeur d'Alene Press reported. The tribe is asking the 9th Circuit to move quickly on the case. Get the Story:
